My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:


Pepper is a 5.5 year old lab mix who we've had since she was 6 months old. Pepper is a high energy dog who's just as happy going walking or hiking as she is cuddling up on the couch.

We have a toddler and are expecting the second. We love pepper and wish we could still care for her but with another child on the way we aren't able to provide the time or resources that she needs anymore.

Pepper is excellent with kids of all ages and more than anything loves to be loved. She is not good with smaller dogs but does well with larger ones, particularly those with calmer temperaments.

We've been looking for a new home for Pepper for a little while now but with the baby's due date getting closer and closer we're reaching a point where we may have no choice but surrender her to the county animal shelter, where she'd be at high risk of euthanasia. Please reach out immediately if you think you may be a good fit for her, we are absolutely heartbroken to be at this point.
