Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pippin, KRLA-A-5847, and Samwise are a bonded pair. They were adopted together into a family, but unfortunately the father developed allergies. Both are affectionate and easy going. They come with a letter from the kids for the new adopters. Pippin, and Samwise were rescued by a volunteer who found them advertised online at a very young age. Bottle raised and socialized, they love their human foster mom. Eat, play, sleep and then they run up to you to cuddle with you. They will shower you with affection. They give kisses when you ask for them. At their foster home they have other cats and dogs, so they love other animals and will do well with kids. They are very cuddly and friendly. Pippin wants to be on your lap at all times. Nothing bothers Samwise. He is very chill and will hang out on your lap in any setting. They are part of a four kitten litter. Come meet them and hang out to see them.

We adopt animals to homes in the Los Angeles area and neighboring counties.
Our cat adoption questionnaire https://kittenrescue.org/adopt/cat-adoption-form/ is first step of our adoption process, which also includes a home visit, the signing of an adoption contract, and payment of our adoption fee.
Adoption Fees
$150 for a kitten or cat up to 10 years old, or $250 if you adopt a pair.
Cats above 10 years old have a fee reduction of 50%, for an adoption fee of $75 each.
Our dog adoption fee depends on the dog breed and age.

Many of our kitties live in foster homes and can be visited at one of our four weekly adoption events or by arranging directly with the foster.

More about this rescue

Kitten Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer-run organization devoted to finding loving homes for unwanted, homeless cats and kittens. We rescue cats and kittens from the streets of Los Angeles and from City Shelter euthanasia. Since our start in 1997, we have grown into one of the largest, most well-respected animal welfare groups in LA.

Kitten Rescue volunteers adopt out over 2,000 cats and kittens into homes every year. We educate the public about responsible pet guardianship, how to care for kittens and cats, and the importance of spaying and neutering. Kitten Rescue makes educational material available via events, print, school presentations and here on our website. We also provide Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) assistance for communities in and around Los Angeles, and teach people how to manage and care for feral cat colonies.
