This adorable and gentle girl is Avery. She is currently 5 months old, 40 lbs, and we think she may be a Pit Bull Terrier mix, but with rescue it’s always a guess! This puppy is from a part of the US where puppies are regularly euthanized. So, this puppy needs you! If you choose a puppy from this rescue, it saves their life AND it also allows us to save the life of another in its place.

Avery Mia (as her fosters call her) is currently in a loving foster home with one of her brothers and a couple other dogs (that she loves to play with) and cats (whom she mostly ignores – she doesn’t chase them but is curious). This brave girl handled the recent storms perfectly – she slept through an actual hurricane, and we think there should be a Texas badge of honour for that. Avery Mia is an expert car-rider, and sleeps through the night. Her foster family has her on a great schedule for going potty outside and is close to using pee pads in the house too.
Avery Mia is a playful, loving, and happy puppy! Like all puppies, she loves to nap several times throughout the day, but is always up for playing, especially with kids (of all ages). She loves to meet new people and enjoys being the center of attention – and Avery Mia will definitely be your loyal buddy! Her foster mum reports that she is curious and slightly mischievous, but in a funny way – she has a big personality that will definitely find a special place in your heart. This little pup is not a big barker, and is very observant of her surroundings – we think she would thrive with another playful dog in the household.
This charming girl is affectionate and loving – she actually loves to be carried around, and we support that level of love entirely, lol. Avery Mia just basks in any attention – will you be the one to give her all your affection and a loving forever home?
Avery Mia is still young so she will need a family that can commit to training, socialization and all the dedication puppyhood requires. Her new family will need to continue with potty and crate training and daily exercise. We require a commitment from adoptive families to crate train their new puppy. When old enough, she will be perfect to go on walks and hikes or show off around your neighborhood.

Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport.
Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $825 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
*WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health.
*To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.

We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be!
