My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Marble was terrified when she came to the shelter. She wouldn`t leave her kennel willingly and always avoided contact with humans. In foster care (since 5/26/24 we have learned a TON about her! She does excellent with the dogs and cats in the home, she is crate trained, house trained and doesn`t mind livestock! She LOVES to play in the hose and lounging on the couch is the very best. Marble is being treated for Valley Fever and is doing well. She takes time to warm up to new people, but she has absolutely loves her foster parents. She isn`t ready to play or go for a run yet with her Valley fever being in 3 legs, but she gets around well at her own pace. Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

Mon - Tues: 12-7pm Wed - 1:30-7pm Thurs - Fri: 12-7pm Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 5 pm Must be checked in 45 minutes before close

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

3.
Take the Pet Home

Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.

Additional adoption info

Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!

Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
