The skinny and neglected just keep rolling in. Patrice was in rough shape when she arrived. She was distracted by her new surroundings, but when the treats came out, she was fully focused. Patrice sits so nicely when we ask and was gentle considering how empty her belly must've been. Patrice is getting healthier by the day. She is ready to be loved back the way she loves everyone she meets.
Came in as a stray on 5/6/24. Found near 9300 S. Colfax, Chicago

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.
All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter.
Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
