My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Fat guy in a little coat!

Our Farley might not be a movie star, but he does have a natural funny side. The way he sits back with his paw on our leg while we pet him is cute, sweet, and silly all in one move. Farley is a big lover also. He likes to be close, he loves to give kisses, and be touched back.

Adoptions are walk-in 12-6 daily at 2741 S. Western Ave. Chicago, IL

Email visitcacc@cityofchicago.org for more information.

The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID.

All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter.

Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after time for decompression for the shelter dog.
