If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
We have had Eleanor (Nell) since she was 6 weeks old, she was from a litter that I trapped and fixed. Her mother and other littermates were adopted but we were attatched to her. Unfortunately, we received orders to Hawaii and cannot take all of our dogs and cats due to base housing limits. Shes about 5 years old now and despite growing up with a revolving door of pets in our home (we’ve been fosters for years), she does NOT enjoy the male cats in our home. I think she would do well in an home with other calm cats, dogs and kiddos. She’s a snuggler and loves pets. Just sit down with a fuzzy blanket and she’ll find your lap. She’s the best bedtime buddy. We would love to find her the perfect home!
