Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Ozzie, a DSH Black Coat, born around September 15, 2023. Ozzie came into foster care with me when he and his sister needed more socialization. Since December 2023, I've been working with him, and he's made remarkable progress. Initially, he didn't want to be touched by humans, but now he greets me, comes up on the bed for pets, and rolls over for belly rubs. While he may take a moment to warm up, he's definitely come a long way.
Food is a great motivator for Ozzie, and a tasty treat is the quickest way to his heart. He'll need a home that can continue his socialization, and one without small children would be ideal, as they might be too overwhelming for him. Ozzie's rehabilitation has even allowed him to get used to being around well-trained, non-chasing dogs with slow introductions. He also does well with other cats and would love a playmate.
Ozzie truly needs a special person(s) with a big heart. He has so much love to give and needs a patient home that will give him time to flourish. If you think you might be that special person, please show him some love by filling out an application.
I almost forgot Ozzie's meow is literally the sweetest, he sounds like a squeaky mouse.
All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.
If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer. Thanks!
No Ozzie left behind!
