My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Hailey! 🐾
Are you looking for a new best friend? I might just be the perfect match for you! Let me tell you a bit about myself:

I'm a good girl who knows how to behave! I'm crate trained and housebroken, so you don't have to worry about any accidents. I promise to fit right in with your routine and be on my best behavior.

I get so excited to meet new dog friends on our walks! I love saying hello and playing with other dogs. My foster mom is amazed at how well I match the playstyles of all the dogs I meet. If you have other pups at home, I'd be thrilled to have some playmates to romp around with!

I've already mastered the "sit" command and I'm eager to learn more. I'm pretty smart and treat motivated, so I'm up for any training you'd like to try with me!

When I'm inside, I'm a pretty calm and quiet girl. I love to relax and enjoy a peaceful home environment. If you're looking for a dog who doesn't make a lot of noise, that's me!

Cats? I'm still figuring them out. I don't really mind them, but I'm also not too sure what to think. If you have a cat, I'd be open to a slow introduction to see how things go!

I've got some pretty cool moves when it comes to playtime! I know all sorts of fun ways to invite my friends to play with me-play bows, army crawls, you name it! I'd love to show you all my playful tricks and have some fun together!

🐶 Why You Should Choose Me

I'm looking for a forever home where I can share my love and playful energy. Whether you want a buddy to join you on adventures, a friend for your other pets, or just a loyal companion to hang out with, I'm your girl! I can't wait to find a loving family who appreciates both my calm nature and my fun-loving spirit.

It's worth noting that I'm heartworm positive, but thanks to the generous support from Friends of Wake County Animal Center, I have a $400 sponsorship towards the medical costs for heartworm treatment. It's important to remember that heartworm is not transferable to other dogs, and with treatment, I'll be on my way to a healthier and happier life.

Hailey is spayed and up to date on all her vaccinations, so she's ready to join your family today! If you think you might be the perfect match for this lovable pup, email her foster mom at mr.westerdam@gmail.com with the subject line "Hailey." Don't wait, Moana is ready to find her happily ever after!
