My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jaxon! Im a 40 pound 8 month old Terrier Mix.

I was surrendered to VCA because my left leg was run over and crushed. Instead of amputation, the doctors reconstructed my leg. I have a limp and large scar but am still able to run and play like a normal dog. Because I have been run over, I am terrified of cars, so a home with a fenced in yard would be best for me. I do walk well on leash but am new to the world and look to you for confidence when I am scared. Another calm dog in the house would be helpful for me to learn from. I will chase cats, squirrels, or bunnies .

As a puppy I have chewed on kongs, and benebones to help with teething. I am super smart and bark when items are out of place or have been moved. I am potty trained, and crate trained. I use a slow feeder as I can eat food too fast. I love cuddles, belly rubs and sunbathing. I hope you like to play ball, because Im learning to play fetch. Im quite good at catching the ball.

Im still in boarding at the vet and would love a foster home or adopter!
