My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Jaxon! Im a 50 pound 10 months old Border Collie/Pitty mix.

I was surrendered to the vet clinic because my left leg was run over by a car and injured when I was a 3 months old puppy. The kind veterinarian was able to reconstruct my leg. I have a limp and a large scar but I am still able to run and play like a normal dog. I can use my repaired leg to jump on and off the couch and the bed. I love to run up and down the stairs and to chase balls. Tennis balls are my favorite! I love to go on walks and to sit outside in the grass. I am a playful puppy who loves all toys, especially chew toys. I am crate trained and house broken. I love to meet other dogs. I will chase cats, squirrels, or bunnies . I am a very sweet and loving dog. In the evening, I love to sit on the couch to watch TV and to snuggle with my people. I sleep by myself in the kitchen and I do not make a peep until it's time to get up. I am not a barker. I love cuddles, belly rubs and sunbathing. I hope you like to play ball, because Im learning to play fetch. Im quite good at catching the ball. I do not love car rides but I ride well in my crate without barking.

Jaxon would love a family with a fenced yard so that he can stay outside and lay in the sun as much as he wants. Jaxon would be best in a family with children 8 years old or older. He is a goofy boy and is still learning not to jump on people to greet them. He is such a handsome boy and will make a wonderful companion!
