Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Like many dogs that CAMO rescues, Adrienne came to us in quite bad shape with severe dental disease, demodex mange, glaucoma and a luxating lens in her right eye requiring removal of that eye. But this little girl has recovered nicely and is ready to be adopted by someone who can manage the glaucoma in her left eye. With eye drops, the pressure has been lowered to well within normal range. And she tolerates the drops very well. Her foster mom reports that she has been an excellent patient.
Because of her eye issues, she is visually impaired but can see light and shadows with her remaining eye. This does not slow her down. She gets around her foster home and the backyard quite well though does bump into things occasionally including other foster dogs. She also appears to be hearing impaired.
Adrienne has gone from a trembling little girl when she arrived at her foster home to a relaxed lap dog. Her confidence builds every day. She does well in the car and at the vet. She is estimated to be about 10 years old and weighs in at 10 lbs. She is spayed, up-to-date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative and microchipped. After her dental, she was left toothless but gobbles down canned food.
Because she is visually and hearing impaired, she would do best in a home with no small children. If you believe you can provide Adrienne a loving forever home, please go to www.camorescue.org to apply for this sweet little girl.
Adoption fee is: $200
ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com.
Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee.
Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

More about this rescue
CAMO Rescue is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that offers life, health, and a forever home. We specialize in dogs that other rescues can’t or won’t take due to fearful nature or medical needs. We primarily rescue ‘euthanasia listed’ animals that are in immediate danger of death. We provide shots, spay/neuter, microchip, foster homes, food, medical treatment and love to dogs that are abandoned, unwanted or otherwise in need. We never euthanize an animal to make room for another. In addition to caring for our dogs and finding the best possible home for them, we provide education to the community; encouraging and promoting responsible pet ownership. If needed, our rescue dogs are retrained to socialize in an adoptive loving family. We have had phenomenal success, and amazing support from our community. We believe that animals, as living creatures are entitled to a quality life, respect and compassion. Since humans have domesticated animals, we have a moral and ethical responsibility to care for them. We are partnered with many Shelters to help them reach the same goal.
