My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Roseanne, the adorable 1-year-old hound-mix! This girl is an absolute blast to play with, but she also gives the best snuggles. Give her a giant ball and you could watch her run around and try to fit it into her mouth for forever! Roseanne loves her friends at the shelter, but is waiting for a fun and loving place she can call her fur-ever home. Come meet her and fall in love with her goofy personality and wiggly-butt!

More about this shelter

We serve the pets and people in Northern Illinois and Southeastern Wisconsin. Our mission is clear: To take responsibility for each and every orphaned, abandoned, abused or neglected dog and cat which reaches our doors; to take them in and shelter them; to provide the best medical and physical care possible for them; to nurture them back to health if need be; and finally to place them into warm, loving, adoptive homes where they can enjoy the lives they deserve.
