Our spunky little Rubee is now available for adoption! Rubee is a tall, lean female Chihuahua/Miniature Pinsher mix who is 2 years old and weighs approximately 14 pounds. Rubee has a beautiful, sleek black and tan coat and a fun adventurous spirit! She enjoys hikes, belly rubs and loves to snuggle and burrow under piles of blankets. Her curious, playful side comes alive when she is on the hunt for local lizards! She is a joy to watch and keeps her foster parents entertained for hours! Rubee is people and dog friendly, knows how to “sit” and is working very hard on “stay”. She is potty, leash and crate trained and has not been exposed to cats or small children. Interview

We will call if we feel you are a fit for one of our adoptable pets. Once confirmed, we will set up a meet and greet with the pet.

3.
Home Check

We will visit your home to see the environment where the dog will live and answer your questions.

Additional adoption info

Additional Information:

If applicable, we'll call your veterinarian to ensure that previous pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and well cared for.

For renters, we'll check with your landlord to ensure that dogs are permitted and that the dog that you're adopting wouldn't violate any size or breed restrictions.

Adoption fees are generally between $300-$450 depending on which pup you are adopting.

Leashes of Love Rescue is an organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from local high-kill shelters in Southern California and owners who can no longer care for them. Our goal is not only to place dogs in well-matched, carefully screened forever homes, but also to educate dog owners about responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.
