Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Age: 1 year
Weight: 45 pounds
Location: Foster
**Meet Nash: Your New Best Friend**
Nash is a lovable, one-year-old lab mix with a charming personality and a heart full of love. Found on the side of a busy intersection with his siblings, Nash has patiently waited for his turn to find a forever home while his siblings have already been adopted.
**About Nash:**
- **Date of Birth:** Approximately May 20, 2023
- **Weight:** 40/45 pounds
**Personality:**
Nash is crate trained and potty trained, making him an easy addition to any home. He is great with dogs of all sizes and genders, and he loves people. Although he can be a bit shy and unsure in new surroundings, his playful nature quickly shines through. Nash is a big puppy at heart and has a particular fondness for toys. Whether it’s a toy or a stick, he enjoys walking around with something in his mouth for hours. He also gets along wonderfully with cats and even loves playing with their toys.
Nash is looking for a loving family who can give him the attention and care he deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful, and loyal companion, Nash might be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet Nash and see for yourself how much joy he can bring into your life! IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.
Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adopt
All of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.
ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location.
Petfinder lists our pets as "Out of Town" pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transport
We understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.

More about this rescue
We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.
Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.
Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
