For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello hello! Meow you doing? Samus is my name and being cute is my game! As you can tell I have quite the purr-sonality, aren't I hiss-terical? I'm very social and really like other cats! However, the only other cats I am safe to be around are other FIV+ cats because I, myself have FIV+. I love to climb all over the place, it's a purr-fect source of exercise. I do also have a few teeth so more gentle foods are better for me. I hope to see you soon and that you're feline ready to bring home!

More about this shelter
The MaxFund is a non-profit organization that was established in May of 1988 to provide medical care for injured pets with no known owners, and to seek out new homes for these animals once they have recovered. The MaxFund is a no-kill dog and cat shelter. MaxFund assists hundreds of people and animals each year by trying to make the correct match between owner and pet. MaxFund adopts our animals to Colorado residents only.
The MaxFund is a TRUE no-kill shelter. There is no pre-sorting of animals into "adoptable" and "non-adoptable" categories, discarding the so-called "unadoptable." The MaxFund takes every animal it has the space for. EVERY animal is kept until its owner is found or it is placed in a new adoptive home.
