MEET LUNA #13!!

Luna is a beautiful, loving, loyal and sweet companion. She may be shy at first, but she will warm up quickly especially with a few of her favorite treats. She does not like the water, but she sure does love scratches. She is a smart girl looking to please her people.

Luna is house trained, crate trained and leash trained. She should be the only animal in the home. Luna can be territorial and has not had a good relationship with other dogs, cats or small children living in the home. She does ok with supervised play time with visiting dogs or children however. Her size is a great crime deterrent (although her demeanor is not that intimidating) which is a comforting fact for someone or a family. Once she has bonded with her people, she is an excellent companion looking for safety and love. Meet Luna today!

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters will be required to complete our Adoption Application, read and sign our Adopting Policies and Procedures, and participate in a home visit by one of our adoption representatives. Our Adoption Application is located on our website: www.underdogaz.com.

We also have a mandatory two-week Foster With Intent to Adopt trial period for all animals in order to be certain the pet is a good fit for your family.

Our standard adoption fee for dogs is $200; puppies are $250.

Non-standard fees do sometimes apply. Puppies younger than six months may have a higher fee. Designer dogs, purebreds, and other toy type breeds may also have higher adoption fees than the standard $200.

We do, however, have discounted fees for dogs that are seniors, a pair of dogs adopted together, or cats. If you are a veteran or an active duty service member, please ask about our partnership with Pets For Patriots.

All Underdog pets are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption.

We are a 501c3 non profit, your donations save lives and are 100% tax deductible.

More about this rescue

Underdog Rescue of Az is an all volunteer organization dedicated to the rescuing and re-homing of abandoned and/or abused dogs.

We are a foster-based rescue, and do not maintain a physical base of operations. All of our animals are placed with loving, caring safe foster families until they are adopted. We are also an "All Breed" rescue, and do not discriminate based on breed, age, size, etc.

Underdog's mission also includes educating the public on the issue of animal welfare. We strive to promote shelter reform, spay and neuter education and emergency rescue information & assistance.
