Home run is in a foster home and the family shared updates with us! This cutie needs a very rabbit-savvy home that is experienced with doing butt baths and understanding rabbit behavior and diet. Home run can be very vocal when he is displeased and boxes, lunges, and grunts, so a household with no children and very patient adults will be best for him. Despite his grumpy exterior, he's sweet and loves the company of his humans (as long as you aren't too grabby with him). Gaining his trust takes some time but once he trusts you, he is very mellow, loves to check up on you, has excellent litter habits, and isn't much for spicy hay (chords and wires in the rabbit world)! He is very food-motivated and will lunge at his food (veggies beware)! If this grumpy bun sounds like the perfect fit for your experience and bandwidth, ask about him today!
Home Run is neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated against RHDV2 (vaccine must be administered annually). House Rabbit Society recommends all rabbits see a rabbit-savvy veterinarian once a year.

Since 1988, House Rabbit Society, its supporters, small staff, local chapters, licensed educators, and other volunteers around the globe have been advocating for the care and well-being of rabbits.
Our goal is to help people see rabbits as intelligent and social pets who thrive indoors.
