Hello. My professional name is Bartholomew, but you can call me Blue. I found myself in rescue because I was turned into a vet office as a stray. I love to play and run around outside but also enjoy relaxing indoors. When I'm chilling you can almost forget I'm there. I get along with dogs of all sizes, and even kids. I've been around inside cats and mostly left them alone but outside cats bring out the guardian in me. My perfect companion would be someone who can give me calm affection and some mild to moderate activities. I am always ready for walks, and car rides, but I also love to lounge. I do get anxious when I am by myself so I would need a secure crate when you leave the house but if I know you are home I promise I won't always be glued to your hip. My adoption fee is $200 locally in Houston, TX and $550 out of state (includes health certificate and travel fee). I am up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped and heartworm negative. With an approved application, applicants are considered for the pet they have applied for. Our goal is to make the best match for both the adopting family and the pet. Applications are NOT considered on a first come first served basis. Following an initial meet and great, potential adopters must pass a home inspection and sleepovers are strongly encouraged to ensure a perfect fit. Upon approval, the adoptive family is required to pay a fee and sign an adoption agreement. Fees are $200 for a puppy under a year and $150 for adults and include spay/neuter, current vaccines, microchip and many wonderful years of companionship.
