My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How this pet arrived:
Tiger was brought in by his previous owner on May 15, 2024.

Why this pet is the one for you:
Meet Tiger! This distinguished gentleman is ready to spend his golden years by your side. He loves the company of humans and would be thrilled to be the recipient of all your pets while cozying up on the couch. Tiger walks well on a leash, is house-trained and thoroughly enjoys playing with new toys. He dreams of a family who will make him their one and only pet and spoil him with lots of love. Ready to give Tiger the loving home he deserves? Bring a leash and collar and take him home today!

More about this shelter

San Diego Humane Society, an open-admission shelter, is creating a more humane world by inspiring compassion and advancing the welfare of animals and people. Our lifesaving safety net has helped San Diego become the largest city in the U.S. to keep healthy and treatable shelter animals from being euthanized. We are a private, independent, nonprofit organization that is not affiliated with any other humane society or society for the prevention of cruelty to animals.

With campuses in El Cajon, Escondido, Oceanside, Ramona and San Diego, we provide animal services for 14 cities within San Diego County. We not only care for 50,000 animals in our communities but also share the expertise we have gained through our innovative programs with shelters nationwide so they can save more lives in their communities.

While our influence is expanding nationally, our top priority is meeting the needs of San Diego. We provide exceptional care for all animals through world-class veterinary medicine, shelter and most of all: love.
