My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dory, the happy-go-lucky pup with dreams as big as the sky! This affectionate girl adores giving kisses, making new friends, and spreading joy wherever she goes. She's been waiting at the shelter, but she knows her perfect family is out there.
Dory is a first pick with both dogs and kids, always eager for playtime and snuggles. She's looking forward to a life full of fun adventures, cozy naps, and lots of love. If you're searching for a playful, loving companion, Dory is the one-ready to leave the shelter and start her new journey with you!

More about this rescue

Partners for Pets is a 501c3 non-profit animal rescue located in Troy, IL. Since our opening in 2003, Partners for Pets has rescued and re-homed over 21,000 cats and dogs, who would have otherwise been euthanized in local area animal control facilities. Partners for Pets works diligently to help local area animal control facilities reach no-kill status by opening our doors to the neglected, sick, weak, and injured. No matter their chances of survival, we do everything in our power to give these animals a second chance at life-a life that is full of the love, care, and compassion that they were lacking before.
