My name is Carla (fka Mercedes)!

Mercedes was adopted from us as a kitten way back before we had our current building. Somewhere along the line she wound up with her current owner, who was moving out of the country and surrendered all her animals. Her new name is Carla. She was spayed as a kitten, has been updated on her vaccines, and is microchipped.

Carla is having a hard time here at the shelter. She stays up on the highest shelf, scared of everything. She does like it when we climb on a chair and pet her head and scratch under her chin. She is skittish, so will take a while to warm up. She's just so confused how she ended up here with SO MANY STRANGERS to deal with!
