My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jesse Williams is one of a kind! He is very shy to meeting new people and always has a hard time showing his true colors but once he is comfortable he loves to play. He is always up to play and/or cuddle with the resident cat. He isn't super cuddly with his foster humans but does not mind being held and loves pets! He enjoys sitting in his cat tree and watching the birds and squirrels play outside. He absolutely loves eating! Treats and squeeze ups are the way to his kitty heart. My favorite thing about captain is his white heart on the back of his ear! He is litter box trained and does not mind the resident small dogs. More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Davie County is a non-profit 501c3 group seeking to make a difference in the lives of animals in Davie County and surrounding areas. The Humane Society obtained tax-exempt status in late 1998 and since then has endeavored to improve conditions for animals at the local animal shelter, raise awareness in the community about the need of spay/neuter of animals, and place numerous previously unwanted animals into loving homes. The Humane Society’s long-term goal is to eliminate the overpopulation of dogs and cats in Davie County.
