My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Darrell was brought in as a tiny kitten from an unwanted litter of kittens. He is the sweetest thing but can also be very shy. Darrell was adopted not long after arriving here but was sadly returned the other day. His adopter said he was peeing on the floor and they just won't deal with that. Sad they needed to forget and move on. Darrell was most likely peeing where he shouldn't because he was marking his territory since they did not follow our adoption contract they agreed on and get him neutered before he become of spraying age. Darrell is now neutered like he should have been and not using the bathroom outside of his litter box. He is confused being here and misses having a family to cuddle him. Adoption fee is $50

More about this shelter

Our shelter is staffed by only a few employees so we greatly depend on volunteers to help care for our animals.
We work very closely with rescue groups to help move our dogs out of the shelter quickly. Our goal is to never have to euthanize for space. We cannot do that without rescue assistance because our adoption rates are very low.
