My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

** Prune is currently staying at Pet Care Plus, and she is available for foster or adoption! Email applications@chicagocaninerescue.org to set up a meet + greet! **

Get ready to meet Prune, the high-energy diva with more smooth moves than a disco queen and enough sass to rival Beyoncé! This spunky girl is not just a pup; she`s a walking, tail-wagging party waiting to happen.

With her boundless energy and penchant for mischief, Prune keeps life interesting at every turn. Whether she`s zooming around the yard like a canine tornado or strutting her stuff on her daily walks, Prune approaches every moment with flair and finesse.

But don`t let her wild side fool you – Prune is a lady through and through, always ready to charm her way into your heart with a wink and a wag of her tail. And when the day`s adventures are over, she`ll curl up beside you for a well-deserved cuddle session, because even divas need their beauty rest!

If you`re ready for a lifetime of laughter, sass, and unconditional love, then Prune is the girl for you. Come meet this fabulous pup today and get ready to dance the night away with your new best friend! Adopt Prune, and let the party begin!

More about this shelter

CCRF was founded in 2001 to help find permanent, loving homes for homeless dogs in our city. In just over seven years, CCRF has saved the lives of over 2,000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies.

CCRF now assists the animals that are the MOST vulnerable in Midwest - the dogs and cats that are slated for euthanasia because they are too old, too young, injured, have disabilities, or have simply been overlooked for too long by potential adopters at other shelters.
