My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

*** Lonestar and Daisy Mae are at The Cat Cafe in downtown San Diego. ***

Lonestar: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 1/13/24, #18913
Daisy Mae: white & black patches, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 1/13/24, #18917

Cats: get along, would love a friend!
Dogs: adore!
Children: mixed, see below

Lonestar and Daisy Mae are two of nearly thirty cats of assorted ages who were discovered packed into crowded crates and dumped by a creek with rapidly rising water. The woman who found them brought all of the cats into her home and then started calling around to rescues. The Rescue House stepped up to help the large clowder. The cats were all underweight and needed TLC and varying degrees of medical care, but their sweet and loving personalities were clear from the start. Now these sweeties are ready to leap into their forever homes!

---Lonestar is a handsome panther with tons of personality! Being the brave one, he was a big brother to the smaller kittens. This confident guy is comfortable making friends, kids included! Lonestar accepts all the pets and snuggles you have to offer. He especially likes scritches right under his chin. Feeling ooey-gooey, he'll give you little kisses to express how much he loves you! His courage continues on the playground. As an avid hunter, no toy is safe with Lonestar on the prowl! Carrying his "trophies" in his mouth, he'll proudly parade around the room. So adorable!
---Daisy Mae has big sister energy! Larger in size, she acted more like an older sibling to the smaller kittens. This cowgirl has the coolest patterns and spots on her coat and paws! The shamrock marking on her face matches her unique personality! While she enjoys lounging on your lap for a movie, she requests that you don't pick her up. She'd rather stay on her own paws. Thankfully, this sweetie pie loves your company and is never too far from you. If you need someone to talk to, Daisy Mae is a wonderful conversationalist. Be warned, she is very vocal, especially when dinner time rolls around!

Having been surrounded by other cats their entire lives, they get along well with other felines and would love to have a kitty friend - or one another! - in their forever home. They did great with the two large dogs in foster care. Daisy Mae would appreciate older kids who will respect her boundaries when desired while Lonestar loves to be held and has lots of energy for a young child to play games of mouse throw. He'd be fine with children of all ages.

Are you searching for delightful kittens to love for a lifetime? Then step right up and claim your prize! Lonestar and Daisy Mae are waiting for you!
