A bit about me: - No young children in home (required) - Unknown history with cats and other small animals; has displayed prey drive on walks - Only dog in home (required)
Say hello to Jasper, a sweet girl who is as beautiful as the park she is named for. Jasper can be nervous of people who aren't respectful of her body language, but she warms up quickly to patient and relaxed humans. Young children are too much for this lady, so older kids or adults only please! Jasper loves a good snuggle and would be happy to take a nap with her head on your lap or play a game of fetch together! She always brings the ball back and will drop it in your lap for more. Jasper would love a home with a yard that she can run around in and relax with her people when the weather is nice. We don't know much about Jasper's history, but she seems to have some basic training and understands how to be gentle. Jasper would prefer to be the only animal in home as she is dog-asocial and has a history of prey drive on walks. Although she has a few requirements for her forever home, Jasper will reward her family with unconditional love and a lifetime of laughter! Come meet this sweetheart at the Calgary Humane Society today!

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.
Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.
Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.
Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.
Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.
Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
