Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Bucky believes he is the king of the world and can be a handful. Bucky loves playing rowdy and often times forgets his manners. He will be in need of obedience training to assure he is able to reach his full potential! Regular exercise to channel his high energy is a must. Bucky goes bonkers for toys and could spend all day outside rumbling around. He would do best in a home with people aged 15 years and older as he is too much for small children. While he has previously gotten along with some dogs, he will do best in a home with none. Bucky is not compatible with cats. Bucky is searching for a special home willing to embrace (and work with) his wacky antics and high energy! If he sounds like a good fit for you, come see him today!

More about this shelter
WHO WE ARE
The Almost Home Humane Society (AHHS) (formerly the Tippecanoe County Humane Society) was founded in 1939 by a group of local animal lovers in Tippecanoe County. Since its beginning more than 60 years ago, the organization has been dedicated to improving the lives of animals in our community.
We are not a government agency, are not affiliated with any national organization, and we are not a United Way Agency. We are an open-admission shelter and we accept all animals in need, regardless of age, health or adoptability. As a local non-profit we exist through the generosity of our community.
MISSION STATEMENT
We, the Almost Home Humane Society (AHHS), care deeply about the comfort and rights of animals and citizens within our area. As such, we strive to enhance the relationship between people and animals through education, to control the pet population through responsible advocacy, and to provide sanctuary for unwanted, lost, and neglected animals.
NON-PROFIT STATUS
The Almost Home Humane Society (AHHS) is an independent, nonprofit agency. We are not funded by any governmental or national animal welfare organization. We are a private, non-profit 501(c) 3 organization dedicated to the prevention of cruelty to animals, relief of suffering among animals and the extension of humane education, and we are governed by a volunteer board of directors.
