My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Are you looking for a special companion? Meet Virginia West, an adorable 1-year-old cat who's ready to find her forever home! Virginia West has a unique charm-she has no teeth, which means she loves to let her tongue stick out in the cutest way possible.
Virginia West spent her early days living outside, but she's quickly adjusted to the comforts of indoor life. Despite her tough start, she's incredibly sweet and affectionate. Virginia enjoys cuddling, playing, and soaking up all the love she can get. She loves any type of squeeze treat or wet food, and loves to crawl through the little tunnel in our cat palace for treats! This pretty girl demands pets and attention once she warms up to you (which doesn't take long). You always know Virginia West is coming to snuggles when you hear that signature loving purr across the way.
She's a gentle soul with a big heart, looking for a loving family to call her own. If you're ready to open your heart and home to this special girl, head over to hsecarolina.org to learn more and apply today. Virginia West can't wait to meet you and become your new best friend!

More about this rescue

The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
