For Adopt a Pet and the PEDIGREE® brand, October is all about finding homes for dogs in shelters. Adopt this month for a PEDIGREE® Wet Food Pouch and a chance to win a Homecoming-style photo shoot and shelter donation.
This helps The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster with pet care costs.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, my name is Layla! I originally came to the shelter as a stray and no one came to reclaim me, so now I am looking for my furever home. I can be a little shy at first but I am super sweet and snuggly once I've warmed up. When I am settled in I prefer a low traffic household and I Iike to keep my social circle small. I can be protective of my people and don't always like strangers and other dogs approaching me. Due to my aversion to unknown people and animals, I should be the only dog in the home and any kids should be 8 and older. I have been around a cat before and would be willing to do so again with proper introduction. I have lots of love to share and nothing would make me happier than finding a family to cherish me and give me the life I deserve!
--- If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. We are open daily 12-6pm. --- The Pennsylvania SPCA - Lancaster Center 848 S. Prince St. Lancaster PA 17603 Kennel #16516 717-917-6979 lancaster@pspca.org
