Hi, I’m Layla!

I came to the shelter as a stray, and when no one came to reclaim me, I decided to set my sights on finding my furever home. At first, I can be a little shy, but once I warm up, I’m super sweet and love snuggling with my people.

I thrive in a calm, low-traffic household where I can keep my social circle small. I’m very loyal to my loved ones and can be protective, which means I’m not always comfortable with strangers or unfamiliar dogs approaching me. Because of this, I’d do best as the only dog in the home, and any kids should be 15 or older and dog-savvy.

I’ve lived with a cat before, so with proper introductions, I might be open to having a feline friend again.

I have so much love to give and can’t wait to find a family who will cherish me as much as I’ll cherish them. If you think I could be the perfect addition to your life, come meet me and let’s start our journey together!
