I'm known as Pickles. I'm a buff-colored tabby gal who found myself homeless and pregnant. A kind man realized my predicament and got me to Animal Ark for good food, medical care, and a safe environment to give birth. No more kittens for me, and I'm ready to embark on a new adventure--being a treasured house cat that never has to stress about looking after myself again. If your family is seeking a grateful cat who has had a few hard knocks out in the world, come to the shelter to meet me.

Their adoption process

Submit Application

You are welcome to fill out the application online at https://animalarkmn.org/adopt/ or in person at the Animal Ark (2600 Industrial Court).

Meet the Pet

Please call ahead to make sure that the pet you are interested in is at the Ark and someone is available to show you the pet.

Approve Application

Home Check

For Cats we do a virtual home visit once the application is approved. For Dogs we do an in person home visit after we do a meet and greet.

5.
Take the Pet Home

Once a home visit is done and approved, we will set up a day and time for you to sign a contract and take the pet home!

Additional adoption info

We do not do same day adoptions.

Adoption Fees:
• Dogs and puppies: $200-$800
• Adult Cats: $180
• Kittens: $225
• Senior Cats: $125
