Meet Ross, your next adventure buddy! This sweet guy loves his toys and can’t resist a good game of fetch. He’s a dream on a leash and has proven himself to be the perfect hiking companion. Ross is a big cuddler who loves to stay close to his people but is also crate trained and knows when to relax. He’s smart, food motivated, and quick to pick up on commands like sit, wait, and down. Ross gets along well with medium-sized dogs and enjoys playtime, and while he hasn’t been fully tested with small dogs, he tends to mind his own business around them.

We have many wonderful pets waiting to be adopted! Adoption fees are $85 for dogs and $65 for cats (Dogs over 5 years old, $40). The adoption fee to persons over 55 years old is $40. Adoptions includes spay/neuter, age-appropriate vaccinations, deworming, microchipping, heartworm test, fecal test, and Feline Leukemia/FIV test for cats.

Managed by LifeLine Animal Project, DeKalb County Animal Services provides a humane environment for DeKalb County’s homeless pets. We also provide other services such as veterinary care for our animals including spay/neuter surgeries, pet adoptions, pet reclaims, volunteer programs, foster home programs, rescue group coordination, and other lifesaving programs.
