My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Brutus, the cuddliest canine that you’ll ever encounter!

Brutus is an almost 2-year-old Rottweiler/Lab mix. This lovable teddy bear of a dog isn’t just adorable; he’s a gentle giant with a heart full of love. Brutus is a very large boy weighing in at 91lbs! Brutus adores people. If you sit with him, he will first demand belly rubs, and then rest his head on your leg and fall asleep.

Brutus may be a gentle giant, but emphasis is certainly on the gentle. Brutus is a very well-mannered boy that has a great foundation of basic obedience, but will need continued help from his adoptive family to continue to learn!

Brutus is looking for a home where he will be your only pet. No other dogs or kitties please! Selfishly, he would like to keep all of your attention to himself. Brutus may do well in a home with respectful, dog-savvy children!

If you are looking for a dog with a personality that is just as sweet as his adorable face, Brutus may be the one for you! If you`d like to meet Brutus, please fill out an adoption application on our website or get in touch with us at wausharacoanimalshelter@gmail.com!
