My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Meet Beau! He has a smile so big it will melt your heart."

Hello Sedona, my name is Beau. I am a 2-year old handsome boxer mix, weighing about 60 pounds. Not only do I love people, but I love playing with my toys and getting in a good snuggle session with lots of petting; it's my favorite. You can tell how happy I get by my excited wiggles and a huge smile on my face! I am super excited to meet you and any other potential siblings.

I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped and fixed. Call to make an appointment to see me: 928-282-4679.
The Humane Society of Sedona is open 10am-4pm, Monday-Sunday, closed to the public on major holidays.

More about this shelter

Our Vision - Be Our Heart & Voice
Building a caring community where every adoptable and treatable pet finds a life-long loving home.

Our Mission
The Humane Society of Sedona is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of pets in our community and beyond. The Society has served the Verde Valley since 1966.

The Linda and Allan Brecher Center for Animals at the society is designed to allow every person, who desires the love of a pet, to adopt and provide a forever loving home. The Center provides quality care and positive reinforcement behavior training for adoptable pets. Passionate volunteers help walk and socialize the pets in our care. Foster pet parents are an important part of caring for pets outside the Center.

The Society provides vital services for pets and people alike through income-based affordable spay/neuter surgeries and vaccination clinics. Also, for families in need to feed their pets, we have a Pet Food Program.

Another public resource is our adult and youth educational programs.

The Society relies on community support, contributions, grants, bequests, investments, proceeds from the Society’s thrift stores and some fees for service in order to save pets’ lives.
