Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
She possesses a remarkable motherly instinct. She has fostered several different kittens and, even though she no longer produces milk, she continues to nurture and protect them. She enjoys receiving attention from people. When she's not in her kennel, she can often be found seeking out kittens she believes need a bath. She's a kind soul who will become a wonderful, loving member of a family.

Additional adoption info
We always love for the potential adopters to come and visit with an animal to make certain that it will match their personality. There is an adoption application form that must be filled out, once this is done it is usually a 24 hour process. Once the application is approved, the animal, if not already, must go to our vet here and get either spayed or neutered. After these procedures are finished then the animal may go home.
For adoption of a dog prices vary with the age of the dog: Puppies 8 Weeks to 6 months are $225, Puppies ages 7 months to 11 months are $175, Adult dogs 1 year to 7 years are $100, and senior dogs 8 years and up are $25. They are given age appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, given flea treatment, tested for heartworm, given heartworm preventative, and spayed/neutered before leaving our facility. Cat adoptions also vary with the age of the cat: Kittens 8 weeks to 6 months are $75. Cats 7 months to 7 years are $50, and cats 8 years and up are $25. They are given age appropriate vaccinations, de-wormed, given flea treatment, tested for feline Felv/FIV, given heartworm preventative, and spayed/neutered before leaving our facility.

We always have animals here at the shelter available for adoption. We have many fundraisers throughout the year and adoption events which sometimes we bring animals to. We have great donors who have sponsored a time slot on a radio station so that we can have "pet of the week." "Pet of the Week" is when we choose an animal to take to the radio and get the word out about that specific pet. We try to do a dog one week then a cat the next week.
