My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mae Mae began her life as a feral kitten. After being rescued, she was treated for ringworm and spent six weeks in isolation. Mae Mae is incredibly cute and loves to play, but she is an independent girl who can be a little quirky. She may do best as an only cat, as her siblings have all been adopted and she seems to like being on her own. She still needs some socializing, as she is still getting used to being held, but once she calms down, she will start purring. She loves treats and will come sit on my lap to get her treats. She occasionally hisses but isn't mean or aggressive-just a bit timid and still learning to trust people. please fill out an app at foccas.net

More about this rescue

Our Mission Statement.....
Friends of Coos County Animals, Inc. (FOCCAS) is organized exclusively for charitable purposes and specifically to support organizations and causes that promote animal welfare in our community. We started in August 2005. To date we have adopted about 300-400 animals a year. One of our biggest programs is our Community Outreach Program where we help the families in financial need to spay or neuter their pets or the stray/feral cats or even with emergency medical care or euthanasia.
