My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bones is, we suspect, a Klee Kai.  The shelter told us he was a Pomsky but upon further review we don't think that's the case.  He is larger than that and has smoother hair.  He is very energetic though and needs an experienced owner who can burn off that energy.  He is an escape artist and will need at least a 6ft fence and should be on a lead to make sure he doesn't find any escape routes.  His previous owner surrendered him to the shelter because he kept getting out of the yard and running away.  He is housebroken and does well on a leash.  He loves other dogs and will need a playmate.  We are not sure how he will do with cats although this is a high prey drive breed.  And also unsure on kids but he is very friendly.  He will be fixed, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped on June 3rd and can officially go to his home after that.  But we are accepting applications now.

His adoption fee is $550

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers whose passion for animals have led us into the animal rescue community. We focus on local animals that are homeless, neglected, abused, or need a new home, and bring them to safety. Our goal is to educate, rehabilitate, and help connect animals with their forever home. Through education we hope to end the mistreatment and overpopulation of animals.
