My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lando is named for the beloved character in Star Wars who is the administrator of a floating Cloud City. We are still learning about him but so far we know he is a great guy! If you pat next to where you are sitting he will hop up and either crawl into your lap or will cuddle next to you with his tummy up. A quirk of his is that he likes to sleep in his carrier, perhaps a holdover from his previous life. He likes to sit in the window and watch what is happening so a home with some windows and perches would be ideal for him. A quiet home with no small children is probably perfect for this mellow guy.

Prior to adoption, all cats are spayed/neutered, tested for FIV/FELV, vaccinated and microchipped.

Additional adoption info

More about this rescue

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) animal rescue organization dedicated to saving local at-risk shelter pets from the San Jose Animal Care Center. Our goal is to give adoptable animals a chance to shine in a casual and relaxed environment, and expand opportunity for adoptions, thereby reducing the euthanasia rate in Silicon Valley. The Dancing Cat also seeks to create a community of cat lovers by providing a place for fun social and educational events.
