My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Sundae Puppies - Chocolate
ADOPTION OF A PUPPY UNDER 9 MONTHS OF AGE

The dog you are interested in is a puppy (under a year old). We have criteria for our adoptions of puppies. Puppies are adopted on a foster-to-adopt basis until the puppy is old enough to be neutered/spayed (we prefer them to be no younger than 7 months for females and 9 months for males). Houses with pools must demonstrate that puppies can be protected from the pool with fencing or a cover. Home visits for shots will be required, so puppies are adopted to homes in Maricopa County only. Puppies often have multiple potential adopters, so SPR evaluates what home is best matched with any given puppy and their expected home needs once they have grown.

Meet Chocolate, a charming chocolate puppy with a story of resilience and hope! Born on February 27, 2024, Chocolate is the embodiment of sweetness and calmness, traits he inherited from his loving mom, Sundae.

Sundae is not just a beautiful dog with a rich chocolate coat; he's also a testament to the strength and resilience of motherhood. Despite giving birth to 10 puppies in a dirt lot, Sundae remained steadfast and caring, doing he best to protect and nurture her little ones until fate intervened.

Thanks to a kind-hearted human who discovered Sundae and her puppies, they were brought to safety and provided with warmth and care. Sundae's gentle temperament and unwavering love for her pups shine through in Chocolate, who has inherited his mom's calm and laid-back nature.

Chocolate is a sweet and affectionate pup who loves to relax and enjoy the simple pleasures in life. Her tranquil demeanor makes him a joy to be around, and he loving personality is sure to melt your heart.

As Chocolate prepares to find his forever home, he's looking for a family who will cherish him and provide him with the love and security he deserves. If you're seeking a loyal and gentle companion who will bring warmth and happiness to your life, Chocolate might just be the perfect match for you!

Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this special pup into your heart and home. Contact us today to learn more about Chocolate and how you can give him the loving home he's been waiting for!

If you're ready to open your heart and home to a lovable and resilient pup like Chocolate, reach out to Saving Paws Rescue AZ. Discover the joy of welcoming a new furry family member into your home and be a part of Chocolate's journey toward becoming a cherished member of your family. Please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.org/adoption-form/

We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks.

Go meet their pets

We are a primarily foster based rescue, so all dogs are shown by appointment only with approved adopters. We participate in a number of adoption events per year. Our events are published on our FACEBOOK page.
https://www.facebook.com/SavingPawsRescue/

We are a 100% volunteer organization so we ask for patience in returning calls, emails and FB messages. Many work to juggle family, work and dogs of their own in addition to saving the lives of dogs in need. We are a German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois rescue. We do occasionally have another breed. We rely 100% on public donation for our operations. We welcome adopters - fosters- volunteers and donors to join us in saving lives
