Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rocco was found as a stray wondering in a field at 10 months old in Riverside, CA. He was taken to the Riverside Animal Shelter, where he was overlooked for a solid month. A shelter environment is no place for a dog, especially a puppy, and Rocco soon began showing signs of stress. He was "red listed" meaning he would be killed within 72 hours at the shelter simply for being stressed out. Southpaw Rescue committed to pulling him on "National Rescue Dog Day" (May 20th) and watched as his stress melted away instantly once he knew he was safe in the car.
Rocco fit in right away with the other dogs in his foster home. He is playful, yet gentle and not too overbearing for being a teenage puppy. Rocco already knows how to sit and is good on a leash. He plays well with toys and dogs. He loves to cuddle up with his foster mom for pets,
Rocco is almost fully potty trained; it should just take him another day or so to figure it out. He is neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. The only thing Rocco needs now is a forever home!
We don't know what Rocco is mixed with besides Boxer, but whatever it is, it has made him the cutest dog ever. He will be a great addition into any home.
