Meet Sweet Bart (obviously short for Bartender) he is approximately 7 years old and was pulled right before being euthanized at Carson in LA County. For no reason other than needing to make space. He did well in play groups, gets along with everybody, just wants to be where the people are, but still almost let his fate because he was nothing more than a number. Bart ended up in Carson because of no fault of his own, his owner passed away, so after being very obviously loved and cared for he was destined for death until we saw him and couldn’t let it happen. As you know we usually pull the underdogs that need some work and invest in training or medical for them as needed in order to give them another chance at forever. But Bart is different, he loves everything and every one, his only issue is he’s a bit chubby but he is on a diet and finally accepting of that in his foster home.

He is absolutely loving his foster home but one of his foster brothers does not love him. They are making it work rotating and everybody is still getting ample love but it would still be nice for Bart to be able to be out all the time.
