My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please contact foster at hanneloreonline@gmail.com

Meet Cheeto! This sweet and playful three-year-old boy loves being the center of attention. With his soft fur and friendly personality, Cheeto’s charm is hard to resist. During his time in foster care, he’s proven himself to be the perfect guest— he`s a litter box pro, a polite eater, and full of delightful chortles and trills that are guaranteed to brighten your day.

Though you’d never know it by looking at him, after being rescued from life on the streets Cheeto tested positive for two cat-specific viruses, FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus – aka “Kitty AIDS”) and FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus). While these conditions may sound intimidating, they don’t mean he has leukemia, and many FIV/FeLV-positive cats like Cheeto can live long, happy indoor lives with proper nutrition and regular vet check-ups. However, these viruses can spread to other cats, so Cheeto would need to be your one-and-only feline.

Given his friendly and social nature, Cheeto would likely thrive with a canine buddy to play with. He loves to play catch!

If you’re looking for a sweet, talkative, and loving companion, Cheeto is ready to fill your home with warmth and joy.

• Litter Box Trained: Yes

• Good with Other Cats: No, should not be around other cats unless also FIV/FeLV+

• Good with Dogs: Likely yes. Cheeto has been fostered in a home without other pets, so his introduction to other animals would be new, but based on his easygoing nature, he’d likely build fast friendships and enjoy a dog buddy
