Kruze is an 2 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs around 60 lbs. He is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention l. Kruze is nervous around strangers and kids! He hasn’t been tested around cats or other dogs. However, he does great with the other dogs in the home! Kruze is terrified of people. He might growl if people try to pet him, but he won’t bite once they do it. His owner says he just starts shaking so bad and will urinate. He is comfortable with his owner, but on his own terms, because he won’t come to her when called. Kruze is crate-trained, but isn’t housebroken. The owner is surrendering him because he came from a shelter where he was skinny and terrified. Her goal was to help him get healthy and become more confident, but she is now at a loss on how to help him. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible!
If you think you can provide a great home for Kruze, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Kruze.

More about this rescue
Nancy Gonzalez, founder and CEO, created Australian Shepherds Furever (ASF), a non-profit organization to promote the educated adoption and rescue of the Australian Shepherd (Aussie) dog breed.
In July of 2012, ASF initiated as a Facebook page hoping to have 1,000 user "likes" by the end one year. The page quickly outgrew expectations, now with a network of nearly 67,000 individuals striving to provide aid and refuge to Aussies all over the country.
Using the Facebook page as a platform, the website www.australianshepherdsfurever.org was developed as an additional resource aimed at educating the public on this intelligent and beautiful breed. It provides resources for those seeking help, or those willing to contribute to the Adopt, Save, Foster (ASF) philosophy. Through this philosophy, ASF has saved the lives of countless dogs and helped to provide assistance to those that have nowhere else to turn.
We as humans have a responsibility to speak up and take action in favor of those beings that are less fortunate. Thanks to a team of passionate and proactive volunteers, Aussies nationwide are given a chance at a better life through Australian Shepherds Furever.
