Meet Snooki!

Snooki snook right into a Volunteer's car who stopped after they spotted her running down a street in south GA. After completing her stray hold and no owner coming to reclaim her, we went back for her.

Snooki is approximately 1 year old. She has completed her temperament testing. Snooki would be great as the only dog in the home or with submissive dogs. She can be a female diva! She's incredibly sweet with people. Snooki is a teeny Husky at just 32lbs.

Snooki would be best in a single family home since she is a singer. She would be fine without a fenced yard as long as you're committed to walking her on a leash for exercise and potty breaks. She's good with kids over the age of 7 but hasn't met any younger than that. She is very sweet with humans and loves playing ball.

So who will let Snooki sneak into their H-E-A-R-T?

Snooki is being fostered in Georgia but can be transported for an approved adopter. She is spayed, heartworm negative, current on her vaccines and microchipped. She is considered bi-eyed.

~~Husky Education And Rescue Team is a foster based rescue. Our dogs are in our foster homes all up and down the east coast. We do not have a facility in which you can visit. We find this a huge benefit because we learn our dogs and are able to educate our adopters on what it’s like to have them live in your home. Part of our process, once pre-approved, is to speak with the foster for the dog you’re interested in. If you’re still interested in adopting from our rescue the first step is to complete our adoption application online at www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply

Additional adoption info

Our application can be seen here: www.huskyrescueteam.org/apply

We screen all applicants by calling personal references, landlords, vet references, conducting a phone interview and doing a home inspection. We do allow for a two week trial period after the adoption contract is signed. We back our dogs for life.

We are a foster based rescue and do not have visiting hours.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c) (3) nonprofit animal rescue organization. Our organization saves, rehabilitates, and rehomes Siberian Huskies (and other breeds of dogs) who are abandoned and are in kill shelters. We provide medical and behavioral services and rehome them to compatible families. We do this through volunteer efforts. Most of the dogs in need will come from the Southern States where the shelter kill rate is higher. We have a network of foster homes along the East Coast, while our adoption locations can be found in Maryland and New Jersey.
