Age at the time of rescue: 4 months old
Current weight: 13 pounds
Chica Pee is a very sweet, and playful, little girl who is eager to please. When she first arrived, it was obvious she wasn’t loved like a family member. Now that she’s with us, she’s getting exposed to a whole new world of security and kindness. She is learning new things everyday and is very curious about her new world.
CHICAPEE was surrendered by her neglectful owner who tossed her into the gates of the rescue in PR. Because of this, she needs slow introductions to men. She is a bit cautious when first meeting anyone, and definitely bonds quicker to women.
She walks well on leash, is housetrained, is great in her crate, and will self entertain herself with her favorite chew toy or stick.
CHICAPEE is afraid of cats, and not great with dogs. She might be fine with dogs one day, but for now, she’s really just wants all the attention. She will stretch up on her back legs to hug, it’s really sweet!
She would love a fenced yard to get her daily zoomies out. Although she loves to cuddle up on the couch with her foster mom, she is an active girl who requires daily walks and stimulation.
She gets frightened by loud noises, or cars, but just needs to remember she’s safe.
We would love to find her family soon so she can enjoy the beautiful summer weather adventures that are surely to come.
