This sweet girl wandered into our yard a few months ago. We knocked on doors and found her owners just a few houses down the street. When we tried to give her back, the owners said "you can have her - we are moving out of the country and can't take her". We were VERY surprised by this. They handed us her leash and dog bowl and said "you can have her!". My daughter then brought her back to our house where she's been for the last 5 months.
We took her to a Vet who says she is about 8 yrs old, in good health and does not have heartworms. She is about 75 lbs, house trained and very gentle. She has spent some time around my 3 and 7 year old nephews with no problems at all. She spends time inside and outside in our fenced yard. Doesn't bark much.
We already have a dog and don't need a second one at this time - we just can't keep her. Not looking for an adoption fee - just want her to go to a GOOD home - she deserves one! We have several collars, a leash, a bed and a water bowl.
