Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Beauregard is an older, gentlemanly tuxedo cat. He is very social and affectionate. He came to the shelter in pretty rough condition, but a little TLC and this boy is starting to really turn around. Sadly, it was discovered that this old man is FIV+. It's always the sweet ones that get beat up. We guess him to be about a 8-10 years old. FIV is not a death sentence, however. He can live a normal happy life with other cats as long as the cats get along and don't fight. FIV is only contagious through deep bite wounds. Beauregard seems to be unphased by everyone and everything and just so loving despite the rough life he has lived. If interested in meeting him and adding him to your family, please fill out our adoption application on our website at EffinghamCountyHumaneSociety.org
