Dozer is the happiest good boy you will meet. He may be 10yrs but he has the energy of a puppy. He is very loyal and loves to follow ‘his human’ around like a shadow, whoever that is. He has anxiety so he doesn’t do well in a kennel/cage or behind a baby gate. If put in a kennel, he tends to bark non-stop and/or rub the top of his nose raw. He is very well behaved and potty trained so leaving him loose in your home while you are out should be no issue.
For the 8+ years he has been with us there have been 1-3 other dogs in the home so he does best with a dog companion. He hasn't had much exposure to cats so it's unknown how he would do with one in the home.
He can be very timid/scared when first meeting new people (especially men). After a proper introduction though they will be his new best friend.
He absolutely loves neck scratches and playing fetch with frisbees/rings.
I would've loved to spend the rest of his life with him but sadly due to my health I cannot.
