MISTY is a 3 year old, female german shepherd that weighs 65 lbs. She is smart, affectionate, active and very ready for her forever home.

This beautiful girl has been with us for a long time, 2 years to be exact. We dont know why? She's a beautiful dog that's and good with other young male dogs. She's a german shepherd so she loves people, but in a "I'll respect you if you respect me" kind of way. She has a good work ethic, so again, an owner who has the mental stamina to work with her.

Her time has come! She's as brilliant as they come! Her perfect home will be with an active, adult family (she'd be fine with older children). She must have a fenced yard and will be just fine with older children.

Adopt Me! Bluegrass Pet Rescue is a tax exempt, 501(c)(3), No Kill Rescue focusing on the adoption of homeless pets. We are also host to "PAWS BEHIND BARS" which is a basic obedience prison training program based out of Luther Luckett Correctional Complex in Oldham County, KY.
